Mark has over a decade of experience in technology PR and marketing. Throughout this period he has developed key skills in the areas of strategic campaign planning, message development, media relations and event management. A clear communicator, Mark has a strong track record in effectively positioning clients to key audiences including the media, industry analysts and other third party commentators. A graduate of the University of Life, Mark's first employment was as a professional footballer with Bristol Rovers Football Club where he experienced a number of Football League appearances and won 7 Professional Youth Caps for Wales before injury forced him to leave the professional game. Mark quickly turned his attention to a position within a national distribution and home shopping company where he held a number of management roles including warehouse and distribution manager and operations manager. In 1992 Mark joined Cohesive’s founder Barrie Desmond, becoming the company's first employee and has since contributed significantly to the subsequent and rapid growth of the company. In August 2001 Mark was appointed Managing Director assuming responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Company including all operational and financial functions.
