Copenhagen Night Life

Copenhagen is one of Europe’s most exciting and different capital cities. Whether you have a whole day to spend, an evening or even just a spare hour – Copenhagen is a rewarding experience. We hope you can mix business with pleasure! If so, here are some ideas…

A Small Taste of the City

The best way to enter the heart of the city is by rail. Catch a train to Copenhagen H (the central station) in just 12 minutes from the airport and you’ll find that all the main attractions are within a short distance.

Boat tours along Copenhagen’s picturesque canals take only one hour, within which you can see The Little Mermaid, The Danish Parliament, The Opera House, The Royal Palace and much more. Alternatively, see Copenhagen via an open-top guided bus tour – again these take as little as 60 minutes to do.

The quickest way to see Copenhagen is by scaling the 360 year old Round Tower (Rundetarn); over 110 feet about street level. From here, magnificent views are your reward.

Danish Beer Heritage

Copenhagen is home to a rich history of beer-making, with some internationally renowned museums several breweries, many restaurants and countless bars all committed to keeping one of Denmark’s proudest traditions alive.

Indeed, a number of Copenhagen restaurants have even specialized in using beer in the preparation of food, and designed dishes for beer to be served as the perfect accompaniment! If you prefer your beer without food, then hundreds or friendly bars and pubs are open well into the night offering unparalleled choice of the finest brews in Scandinavia.

If heritage is your interest, then a short trip to the Carlsberg Visitors’ Centre is essential. Further afield, try the Esrum Kloster, a monastery offering courses and lectures on the subject of beer as well as a reflecting upon beer-making history stretching back to the Middle Ages.
