The Marketing Audit is a comprehensive review of a client’s marketing objectives, market position and ongoing market activities. The goals of the Audit are two-fold: It provides Cohesive with a mechanism to accelerate or enhance our understanding of the brief and it also provides the client with a tool to scrutinise all aspects of its marketing performance.

The Audit is run as a brainstorm, during which we will challenge pre-conceptions and institutionalised thinking, and create the conditions for clarity and creativity to flourish. Each Audit is tailored to the needs of the individual client.

Tangible output from the Audit will be a well-evolved brand hierarchy, summarising the vision, proposition and themes that the client will communicate to target audiences. We will also identify clear, time-bound objectives as part of the marketing process.
On the tactical level, the Audit will identify and sequence the creative ideas and proof points that underpin the delivery of a marketing plan.

We recommend that every new customer relationship begins with an Audit, and that the process be repeated annually. The Audit can also be a stand-alone activity.
