Andy Williams is a highly skilled marketer whose knowledge is borne of 15 years experience within several high-growth, hi-tech companies. In keeping with those companies’ cultures, his roles have been very hands-on and required him to learn fast, think independently and get the best out of those around him. Andy joined Cohesive from Thirdspace, a start-up company delivering interactive TV solutions to cable and other broadband operators, where he was VP and Head of Marketing. Prior to that Andy was AVP and Head of Public Relations for the Carrier Internetworking Division at Alcatel. The division was responsible for all broadband access and switching products, and enjoyed world-wide market leadership in ADSL. Andy enjoyed a distinguished career at Newbridge Networks prior to Alcatel. His last position was VP and global Head of Public Relations, building on a varied career in product marketing and product management. Andy holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Wales. Andy is also the Campaign Manager for Broadband4Britain, a pressure group set up to lobby government on the roll out of Broadband services throughout the UK. To date this campaign has gathered support from over 300,000 individuals within UK businesses and enjoys and extremely high media profile.
